
Company Announces Facility Expansion in McLean County

Henderson, Ky.Advanced Drainage Systems (ADS) announced today that it would nearly double its existing facility in Livermore, Kentucky.
The Hilliard, Ohio, based company is the worlds largest manufacturer of high density corrugated polyethylene drainage pipe and fittings. The Livermore facility manufactures products used in the transportation, building and agriculture markets
“We are so pleased that ADS has the decided to expand in McLean County,” said McLean County Judge-Executive Larry Whitaker. “They are a great employer. Anytime a company like ADS decides to invest in your community it is a great day.”
ADS is investing more than $375,000 in the project. The company will add a 13,500 sq. ft. facility to the company’s current complex of 15,000 sq. ft. ADS presently has 70 employees at the facility. This expansion will see employment increase by more than 5%.
According to Wes Garrison, Plant Manager, this project lays the groundwork for additional growth at the facility. “This will allow us a good opportunity to expand production in Livermore in the future.”
The company hopes to break ground on the project by 1 April of this year with completion scheduled for mid-3rd Quarter 2006.
