Existing Business Program Sponsors Successful Training
Northwest Kentucky Forward joined with E.ON US to sponsor a Safety and Health Training for local industry. The 6-hour program focused on Accident Investigation, Back Safety, Bloodborne Pathogens, Lockout/Tagout, Ergonomics, Office Safety and an update on the Personal Protective Equipment standards.
“Our HR Manager reported that ‘this was one of the best OSHA seminars that he had ever attended. A lot of valuable information was taught that Trelleborg could benefit from.’
I appreciate Northwest Kentucky Forward sponsoring a much needed service to our business.”

NWKF Plans for New Year
The Northwest Kentucky Forward board recently approved the Marketing Plan and Existing Business Program of Work for the fiscal year which begins in July. Thanks to the Marketing and Existing Business Committees which work to help draft these important documents. The Existing Business Program of Work is available on our website.
Northwest Kentucky Aluminum Network
NWKF has joined with several of our aluminum-related businesses to form the Northwest Kentucky Aluminum Network. The purpose of NKAN is to support existing aluminum businesses, assist them in growing their operations, and recruit businesses which will further enhance the aluminum network members. In support of this new initiative, NWKF has dedicated a significant portion of the new marketing funds to support the efforts of the network.
Recently, Rio Tinto Alcan’s Sebree smelter featured NKAN in its employee newsletter. A copy of that story can be found here.
