Northwest Kentucky Forward and Henderson Community College rolled out www.northwestkyworks.com this past month.  A regional database of human capital, this FREE website enables employers to search the labor market for job seekers with the skills for which they are looking.  Job seekers can register for free, but they must have either WorkKey scores or a minimum of an Associate’s degree or journeyman’s certificate.

If you need workers, you need Northwest KY Part III

Northwest Kentucky Forward is part of a region that recently received $500,000 to assist with workforce training in energy and energy-related occupations.  These funds will be used in conjunction with the Green River Workforce Investment Board and Henderson Community College among others to expand training to meet energy sector needs.
